God gathers believers to Himself and towards each other. The purpose of the Church is to glorify God by gathering for the building up of itself in the faith (Eph. 4:13-16), the instruction of the Word (2 Tim. 2;2), fellowship (Acts 2:47), keeping the ordinances (Lk. 22:19), and advancing the gospel to the ends of the earth (Matt. 28:19).
